Morita AdvErL Evo Brochure

Morita’s AdvErL EVO, an Er:YAG laser, combines a stylish design with all the essential features of a laser treatment unit. Versatile, this unit offers a wide variety of tip options and may be used on both hard and soft tissue.

AdvErL EVO is ideal for periodontology. Most notably, this unit has been studied and recognized clinically for the effective treatment of Peri-implantitis, a challenging disease leading to bone loss around an implant. With use of AdvErL EVO, a method has been found to regenerate tissue and permanently remove bacteria with a low-heat treatment process.

Virtually painless

The wavelength of the Er:YAG laser is most suitable for dental treatments, because it is readily absorbed by water. It efficiently vaporizes human tissue that has a high water content and only affects the surface of that tissue. As a result, it produces very little heat which reduces pain.

Reduced trauma for biological tissues

Unlike CO2 and Nd:YAG lasers, Er:YAG vaporization is concentrated at the surface of the tissue so the energy does not penetrate and damage deeper layers of tissue. It is also far less likely to produce cracks in the enamel, and it does not disperse energy to the area surrounding the irradiation target.

Additionally, there is little heat produced by Er:YAG lasers. Even when irradiated, the implant’s temperature increase is minimal and the integrated bone will not be damaged. The healing process is expedited, since no heat damage occurs. Caries are also treated more effectively.

Applications for hard and soft tissue

Versatile, AdvErL EVO can be used for both hard and soft tissue treatment.

Periodontal Treatment
(Incision, excision, vaporization, ablation and coagulation)
Removal of subgingival calculi
Laser soft tissue curettage

Soft Tissue Treatment
(Incision, excision, vaporization, ablation and coagulation)
Gingival incision and excision
Hemostasis and coagulation
Frenectomy and frenotomy

Hard Tissue Treatment
(Ablation, vaporization)
Class I, II, III, IV and V cavity preparation
Caries removal

Ideal for periodontology

As an Er:YAG laser, the wavelength is readily absorbed by water and efficiently vaporizes soft tissue. AdvErL EVO also offers a wide variety of tip options with an extensive selection for periodontal treatment. Its lightweight and flexible cable and powerful settings are also ideal for this specialty.

Applications include removal of subgingival calculus, diseased, infected, inflamed and necrosed soft tissue within the periodontal pocket, subgingival calculus, and granulation tissue from bony defects. It may also be applied for soft tissue curettage, sulcular debridement, and osseous crown lengthening. AdvErl EVO has also been used successfully in the treatment of peri-implantitis.

Easy to use

Intuitive interface
The display of AdvErL EVO is large, easy to read, and has an intuitive design. All settings can be easily confirmed at a glance. There are 20 pre-programmed settings that can easily be retrieved.

Usage log saved on flash memory
A usage log is saved on a flash memory stick that can be connected to a computer for review.

Elegant and compact
The unit is lightweight and can easily be moved with large castors and handles on both the front and back. These convenient features also allow the unit to be slightly repositioned during treatment if needed.

Easy installation
To install, simply plug it in. The water and air systems are all built in eliminating the need for complicated connections.
