Description
For any practice looking to increase productivity and decrease downtime,
RAMVAC® is your number one choice.
Osprey Features
• Dual column desiccant dryer provides 100% continuous supply of dry,
clean air
• Easy to replace desiccant catridges
• Stores air at a pressure dewpoint of -40⁰C to prevent growth of harmful
bacteria
• Industry leading warranty 6 years / 4,200 hours, whichever comes first
Basic or Smart Control Features
• Basic controls use traditional technology to control the cycling of the
compressor heads and are equipped with switches to isolate the heads
• The Smart control platform (C2 Control) utilizes more modern digital
technology with a pressure transducer and solid state relays to control
cycling. Smart controls also feature head isolation, current sensing,
maintenance reminders, fault notifications and average drain and
recharge times
Osprey Sound Cover
• Lowers decibel ratings by 6-8 decibels
• Available for all models
• Simple to install in the field
Osprey™ Technology
Dual Desiccant Dryer Technology
RAMVAC Osprey Air Compressors are engineered to provide a 100%
continuous supply of clean, dry air. The dual columns on the dryer
assembly ensure that as one column is drying and exiting clean air
to the tank, the other is purging moisture from the chamber.
A solenoid valve activates as needed and the chambers switch
processes immediately to ensure an uninterrupted supply of air for
your practice.
Rocking Piston Design
Designed with rocking pistons, Osprey air compressors are built to
last. The Osprey rocking piston brings air into the system through the
intake filter and the piston rotates to pull the air through the system.
Rocking pistons provide quiet operation and extend the life of the
compressor. The flexible cup seal design used in rocking piston type
compressors can have up to double the life of compression rings in
standard piston compressor design. They also reduce friction in the
system allowing for lower operating temperatures.
